GMC is charging into 2026 with a wave of updates that redefine its HUMMER EV lineup, bringing sharper performance, smarter features, and a fresh edge in off-road capability.
One of the standout upgrades is the standard inclusion of King Crab rear-steer mode on all 2X and 3X trims. This feature, which significantly boosts maneuverability in tight or rugged terrains, is no longer reserved for top-tier versions—it’s now standard across the board. Owners of HUMMER EVs from 2022 through 2025 won’t be left behind either, as the King Crab function will roll out to them through an over-the-air software update.
Leading the pack in raw power is the debut of the Carbon Fiber Edition, a limited-run variant that stakes its claim as the fastest HUMMER EV to date. It rockets from zero to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, combining a performance-focused design with unique styling cues and exclusive touches inside and out.
GMC is also stepping up the tech game across the 2026 HUMMER EV fleet. The vehicles now feature bidirectional charging, enabling them not only to power themselves but also to supply energy to other EVs, home systems, or gear in the field. The latest Super Cruise driver-assist technology brings improved hands-free navigation on more mapped roads, while a 13.4-inch infotainment display with built-in Google services enhances the driving experience with seamless connectivity and smarter integration.
New color options and subtle refinements throughout the cabin and exterior complete the refresh, ensuring the HUMMER EV remains as visually striking as it is technologically advanced.
With these dynamic enhancements, GMC reinforces its commitment to blending luxury, performance, and trail-tackling innovation in one bold electric package.
