Drake Announces 2025 Anita Max Wynn Tour, Set to Kick Off in Australia

Canadian rapper Drake has thrilled fans by announcing his return to the stage with the Anita Max Wynn Tour, set to begin in early 2025. The rapper shared the exciting news during a livestream with popular gaming streamer xQc, revealing that he’ll start the tour in Australia, marking his first performances in the country in eight years.

The tour will commence on February 9, 2025, and is expected to run through early March. Drake confirmed stops in major Australian cities, including Melbourne, Sydney, and the Gold Coast. While he hasn’t disclosed specific venues, he emphasized his focus on Australia for this leg of the tour, stating, “February 9th for anybody that’s watching from Australia, I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years.”

The last time Drake performed in Australia was during his 2017 Boy Meets World tour. Fans have eagerly awaited his return, and this announcement has sparked widespread excitement.

Interestingly, the tour name, Anita Max Wynn, is a nod to a playful alter ego Drake introduced during a December 2024 livestream on Kick. The name, inspired by the gambling phrase “I need a max win,” quickly went viral, adding a unique flair to this latest venture.

During the same livestream with xQc, Drake also shared updates about his music, revealing that his upcoming joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR is nearing completion, with 75% of the work already done.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album drop, adding to the buzz in the music world. As Drake prepares to kick off this highly anticipated tour, fans can expect more details and surprises in the coming months.

Stay tuned for updates on venue announcements and ticket sales as Drake’s Anita Max Wynn tour draws closer.
