Exclusive Look at Michael Jordan’s Coach-Built Battista Targamerica: Pininfarina’s Masterpiece

Automobili Pininfarina has officially delivered its first-ever bespoke, coach-built hypercar, the Battista Targamerica, to basketball legend Michael Jordan. Unveiled at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, this exceptional creation exemplifies the brand’s commitment to crafting “Dream Cars. Made Real.”

As the world’s pioneering coach-built electric hypercar, the Battista Targamerica is an extraordinary fusion of cutting-edge technology and personal customization. Designed to reflect Jordan’s preferences, the hypercar includes unique features such as a custom cigar humidor seamlessly integrated into the vehicle’s luxurious cabin.

The open-top design of the Targamerica, constructed from carbon fiber, offers a thrilling and immersive driving experience without compromising the exceptional performance that defines the Battista family. Equipped with four electric motors and a 120 kWh battery, the vehicle generates a staggering 1,900 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds, with a top speed surpassing 186 mph.

The car’s exterior, finished in an elegant Argento Liquido Gloss paired with Iconica Blu accents, pays homage to the iconic 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider, another renowned Pininfarina creation. Inside, the bespoke tan leather interior and tailor-made luggage set add to the hypercar’s sense of luxury and exclusivity.

Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, described the delivery as a milestone moment, saying, “Our world-class artisans have created something truly remarkable – the first electric open-top hypercar, meticulously crafted to meet a discerning client’s vision.”

This custom-built hypercar represents both the pinnacle of electric performance and the artistry of personalized automotive design, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of high-performance vehicles.
